ADEDAR and some changes
"I cannot say whether things will get better if we change; what I can say is they must change if they are to get better." - Georg C. Lichtenberg

I don't know what it is like to have kids for real, but I feel it's kind of like my life and work a lot with ADEDAR... You bring them into your "world" (aka rugby for me), you feed them what they need to survive in the world and you teach them to be able to do it on their own, and then, when they are ready, you have to let them go and just do it...
ADEDAR is going through that last stage mentioned here. There's more stages of life for sure, but we get there when we get there. Right now, it's up to Mozambique to continue ADEDAR. So far so good!
This decision wasn't an easy one for sure. It came with a lot of inner-turmoil and anxiety of if they are ready. ADEDAR is at my heart and will ALWAYS be, but at some point, they need to go out on their own and do it. If they want it, ADEDAR will continue to grow and strive and be strong in Mozambique.
This does NOT mean that me, Mandy Nurrenbern, is not a part of it. What this means is I have taken a strong step to the background of ADEDAR's functioning and concentrate 80% of my efforts on funding and grants, and 20% goes towards organizing and managing the coaches (from a distance). Versus it was completely swapped before and it was hard to find time to find the funding and the grants.
The decision was made due to several reasons:
* personal reasons of my own and needing to make sure I am taking care of myself
* a step towards positive growth for ADEDAR because sustainability is important
* it can't all just be given, it must also be worked for if it's truly wanted
I think it's something to show me AND to show my coaches where and what ADEDAR is and what we want in the long run.
With that being said, we have so many dreams for this next year. So, please stay tuned to upcoming travels, tournaments, and other opportunities for ADEDAR in Mozambique!
