From a coach...
Hi, my name is Constancia Gil, player of rugby for 3 years, coach for not many months (7 at this point). I have had a very good experience being a coach. I am proud to be able to be a positive role model for the my players, to help give structure and to prepare them for the future, and to respect the values of rugby (RESPECT, INTEGRITY, PASSION, DISCIPLINE, SOLIDARITY) which in truth are for life!
I love teaching and I have learned a lot. The happiness of each person is contagious to me in every moment. I help my players do what they love to do most and that is to play rugby. I would like to thank ADEDAR and Mandy for this opportunity to grow in rugby!

Constância is a rugby player and coach for ADEDAR. She started playing rugby in 2017. She started coaching at the start of 2019. She feels a great satisfaction to be able to teach and learn so much about rugby and all that it entails. Working with kids and being a part of such a different sport here in Mozambique makes her feel happy and having fun. Her confidence is building and her feeling that she can. Today she says she can look at the world and say, “I can!” She has learned to look at difficulties, and together with colleagues in solidarity, can achieve what she wants.
She started a team in Chamanculo of under 10, under 12 and under 14, with about 25 kids playing for her.
